Hello, Hello Baby
I can’t hear a thing.
I wish that was true. I wish I could be a little kid and stick my fingers in my ears and scream LALALALALA I can’t hear you!!!!!
But life doesn’t work that way. I have to be an adult.
AN ADULT! I’m not a prude, but I’m not a slut either. Sometimes I want to throw my phone when I receive messages from guys. Why do they think it’s ok to talk about tits and ass, and giving blow jobs? Come on, guys, we’re not in high school anymore. Time to grow up. With this winner, I never gave off any vibe that I wanted to jump in bed. But he thought I was easy because of a picture.
I’m also not a conquest. I’m not something to brag about to fellow Soldiers. I’m not flying across the states to become that. I want something. And like I told a friend who is making it his mission to get me between the sheets:
I want a relationship. I’m picky when it comes to guys and maybe that’s why I find faults with all of them that I come in contact with. I’m not a one night stand. I’m looking for a real relationship. I don’t want someone to say it, I want them to prove that I’m good enough. I want them to fight for me. I want to feel special, just as I’ll worship who I’m with.
That’s what it means to be in a relationship. Someone who fights with you, for you. That’s love. And since I’m a hopeless romantic, I hold out for hope that someday I will find my frog to kiss. Until then, I will hang guys out to dry and continue pining over my book boyfriends.
